My wife sent the envelope to KV on Jan 4 afternoon, but our application number is 1XX! Received the form today.

Thank you so much for your advice Ian...maybe I should try to let my girl wake up abit late on 6 Nov coz she usually wake up @ 7 - 7:30 and get tired by 11:30am.....hope this could help!

Oh yes, one key factor during kindergarten interview is time management (sleeping time!). Parents will need to re-arrange the wake up time/ nap time to assure the children is in their peak time.

I also received the form.

For Kenville, I send the letter by post on 30/9 to make sure the school receive it on 2/10. My no. is 8XX. Interview time is 3pm on 6th of Nov. The letter I received is green in color. It seems Kenville reserve the morning session for interview with those who can get forms from the existing Kenville parents?!

For St Catherine, I post the letter on 12 noon of 13/9 but just received the form today. It is pink in color. Interview time is 11:15am on 5th of Nov.

I am so glad that the timing don't clash together.

My boy is Apr 2008.

Ian, you have a second child? I saw your daughter's photo before. What's the age of the second child?

I saw you are so kind to give lots of useful tips and advise to others.

Hi GAT,

The timing is quite good and you are lucky not to have interview time crash into each other. We have give up interview of KV.

We didn't apply thru existing parents but still got morning interview time..... actually it would be better if we got on in afternoon......

Yes, I have a second daughter who aged two so will need to apply for K1 this year also.

yes...it's the only thing i can try my best to manage, hehe!
Ian....can you also share the difference between KV & SC as i know so little about them and wanna get more reference so that i can make the right decision for my elder daughter (if my girl lucky enough...haha)

which one you applied for truelight? if for 堅道 one, it should be 6 Nov (that's my interview date), coz i rec'd their on Saturday and they said there will be a letter follow through

Yes I apply the one in Central. Let me call them tommorrow and check the interview time - maybe I can ask for special time in case they did not send out the letter yet.

haha, yes. It's True Light (Caine Road). Because my elder one is studying in Central, so would prefer one also nearby.

Sorry I should say I am thinking to give up interview at KV, not decided yet.

Is that green forms for boys and pink forms for girls? my daughter's form is pink and I got it from my son's class mistress.

KV and SC are very much in different. SC has more emphasis on Languages (particular English) while KV has more focus on Chinese and Mathematics. On the other hand, KV is better preparation for traditional studying path.

Can see you are busy looking for kindergarten for your young one this time?

It will be available for download in November. The submission dates (in-person) are as usual the first Friday and Saturday morning of December (so I assume it should be Dec. 3 and 4 this year). Interview on January 8th, 2011.

hi hi GAT
my interview time is right after yours, 3:15pm!! i've mailed the letter in the morning on Oct 1. My form number is 7XX, pink form.
so worried that my girl maybe sleepy at that time la.. she usually takes her nap at 3:00...
don't know if i should force her to sleep from 1:00-2:00 or just keep her aroused...
any suggestions??
