Dear rexmarco,

Here's our situation:
1) St. Mary's
- Sent 1st portfolio and letter last year, i.e. after the 1st round.
- Sent 2nd portfolio and letter on 3/6 right after we got the result of central allocation.

2) Maryknoll
- Sent 1st portfilio and letter on 3/6 right after we got the result of central allocation.

Actually, there are 2 private schools accepted our daughter which are St. Clare's and True Light and we picked St. Clare's and their registration/briefing day will be on 10/6.

At this moment, do you think we should call up both St. Mary's and Maryknoll to enquire the status of dealing with the "knocking door" applicants? I heard from the EMB that the schools have guideline from them that they are not allowed to conduct interview with these applicants until 2/7.

Which school has accepted your application? Please share.

我同你情況差唔多, 暫時hold st clare's一間
waitlist有hkuga, 叩門有marymount同st paul convent(兩間都機會好微), 其中marymount講過, 6月尾至會發信通知家長interview既事, 所以我都無謂急.....
睇黎6月10日, 我地都係相見架喇

That's true that we can only wait until the schools call for interview. Nevertheless, I think St. Clare's is also a very good school and my daughter really likes the teachers there. So, we will meet on 10/6! How do we recognise each other though?

其實由舊年10月到而家, 真係折磨左好耐好耐, 死狗stage早就過左, 驚青緊張又試過, 等收信, 等reply, 等電話, 樣樣都試暈, 要做既做晒, 擔心黎都無意思, 而家真係心如止水 睇化晒lu
即管睇下有無奇蹟發生啦

I am in Net 12.  My son was allocated to Buddhist XXX Primary School.  We applied 聖公會聖雅各小學 on Tuesday. My son was having an interview in that afternoon. The next day, we were notified that he was accepted by them at 5:40 p.m.

Good luck to all parents waiting for an interview!
