我囡囡未夠5歲,上個月開始在沙田中央廣場的MacMillen Language Centre上堂,本來最初想佢學phonics,但做完assessment認為佢英文對答唔得,建議佢先上cambridge english,多聽多講先。個度教既係synthetic phonics,tutors全是native,問佢地負責人小朋友上堂情況點,都有心機同你傾番,可以參考佢地website: www.macmillenschools.com

I think your kids should learn Phonics first.
During phonics lessson, listening & speaking can also be practise. Phonics must be learnt before p1.

yes, totally agree with iveaboy.  If your daughter is just 3, then you can still afford time on joining the playgroup or other courses.  But at 5, she should learn phonics, the whole lesson should be conducted in english, your daughter can learn listening and speaking while having the phonics class.  My boy has joined the phonics class for 8 months, he can read Oxford Reading Tree Level 5 or 6.  If they can learn phonics at early age, why should we waste their time.   (just my little opinion)

上星期我問過WideEye課程內容及收費，個女仔答得好詳细，内容都好好，但係一交就12堂，我囝囝唔鍾意咪煩 ??我囝囝要好活動嘅教法，請問小朋友上堂時悶唔悶，會唔會跟唔上就比老師話呢？

I just join their phonic course for my girl last week.  You are right, I also consider the problem of pay 12 lessons at one time.  But after the trial lesson, my girl said she liked so much and wanted to go again.
She said the teacher is funny!
