Thanks all for the valuable sharings ! My husband is also an old boy, we were just lucky being accepted as we don't have the religious marks !

I'm a bit worry about my boy, he's studying in Pui Ching which is quite easy academically.

We must try hard to help him to catch up !!

Thanks for your information.  And I would like to ask about Chinese dictation.  Is it in a sentence or paragraph, how many words?  And, does it require to write very neat?  My son's handwriting is quite 'awful' sometimes, like 打風.

yes, my son is studying in Kentville now.  And he has English and Chinese dictation  once every week.  And mental training 2 times a week.  Hope it is good enough for his transition to P1. Thanks for your sharing.

下學期字數多, 背默一段, 讀默若干句. 另課外讀默一句.
我兒子的字也像打風. 筆劃清潔就好, 勾, 點...要清楚.

Congratulations! It is difficult to get a seat in LS even though you have 20 marks.

Yes, we'll take the school bus ! It's lucky that we are the last stop before going out, so it's not too early for us (maybe around 7:10am) !

"La Sella" should be La Salle right ?

Dear all,

Would like to know any information/form distributed during the parent seminar held after announced 1st round result?   I've missed the seminar!  My father-in-law told me that the seminar only teach you how to train your children and nothing special.  Pls share, thank you.

每學期有一次測驗, 一次期考. 功課平均每天5,6樣. 如果專心做, 通常可於2小時內完成. 在冬令時間返全日時最後一堂通常是用來做功課的.

多口問句﹐你朋友的小朋友是不是除了默書以外沒什麼學習困難﹖有沒有可能是心理障礙或是學習困難﹖老師給的兩個月要求實在是給孩子壓力大過幫助窩﹗如果是想幫他﹐應該跟他說﹐你今次四十分﹐下次要五十分﹐再慢慢上去啦﹐對孩子這樣做對他自尊心非常受損。

告訴他﹐不用擔心的﹐香所說謂的名校﹐是預了收一些開學時比較落後﹐而慢慢再過三四年就排頭幾名的小朋友﹐說不定你朋友的小朋友就是這類型啦﹗

補充﹕我對這校沒偏見﹐只是那老師的評語來給意見。
我自己小一考數學可以全校最差呢﹐不又讀完要讀的然後開開心心畢業﹗
