Dear Mccmom,

Let me answer your queries!  Since John's Educational Centre is run by the franchise system, thus, each centre is not own by the same people.  The owner of each centre is paying around $100,000.00 for joining fee and then John Chu who is the founder will supply all the materials and teachers and help them to run the centre.  It is just like doing a business, I wonder whether they are really want to 作育英才 or not?  I doubt. :tongue:  :

No, Joing 7-11 is need to pay upfront $700,000.00 to the company.

For the John centre is $100,000.oo since they don't have much goodwill, but you need to bear all the cost of renovation and administration cost and hire the teachers at your own expenses.

Roughly is approx. $500,000.00 - $700,000.00 include rental deposit.

Is it cheap?  No comments!

thats not cheap then. but you saide they help you to hire teachers and staffs??   many bks moms here think john's teachers are bad...   so this business is no hope..

TKo branch--- john -- very poor, both the admin and the quality of the teacher; the teacher is the British but she does not show her professionalism, she didn't control the babies, let them run around the classroom, also she didn't well plan the class, she teachs what she suddenly wants..

anyway, it is a very poor PG.

我在之前有開Cambridge考試, 曾不點名批評(約X教室),在馬鞍山那間就非常唔掂.自己教好過.堂堂可以不同老師,像是臨時拉夫. 報名時又話自己是Cambridge考試中心,到你差不多讀完要自己問報考手續,問完話可以download張表比你報考喎!咁同自己報有甚麼分別喎!

所以不要浪費金錢!!

我完全同以, 我以前個小朋友都join ma on shan, 同你個case一樣, 成日d教師唔同.... 就因為這一點, 我已有兩年沒有報讀佢地的課程, 不過佢地間中就會打電話比我, 問我個小朋友有沒有興趣join 佢地d course.  sorry, 我唔喜歡沒有固定教師, 一定有問題才流失率咁高, right?

my daughter went for a lesson last month . we felt that the teacher ( the gwei teacher) seemed like it was her 1st time teaching. no experince at all. lesson was not fun. teacher didnt interact with children ( just 3 children) waste money. worksheets...awww nonsense too.   not good.
