如果本身有大學學位，可以讀pgde,之後去international school 做teaching assistant,會好舒服

As an ECE teacher, the only actual holidays we have are the red/public holidays. The days around those, when children are off, we often have to be back at work to do preparations for lessons. Basically, any non-public holiday (i.e. school-set holidays) that your child has off, the teachers and staff are (most likely) working at school, whether it's preparation, professional development, or others.

PGDE = Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, the preliminary recognition for most government-funded schools. It's not a strict/legal requirement for private or international schools, but because of how competitive teacher posts are these days, it's usually a minimum requirement for teaching candidates.

Do u think if it worths to take a one year full time pgde? Since part time pgde is mainly for existing teachers.
I'm a ftm over 40 years old. I was working in marketing field and I have a master degree.  Since my husband has lost his job, I want to find a job.  I like teaching children, so I want to find a job in education.  Am I too old for the course?

不是每間校都可放長達半個月暑假，我以前間校只放一星期，做夠兩年先可放兩星期，暑假梗係多野做啦，全個課室要重新佈置，要預備佈置公仔，編寫來年教學進度，教案，檢討上年的教學情況.......................................不是想像中的真正暑假，我是過來人，現為FTM
