There is no such thing as "hea" from a child's perspective. Every waking moment for small kids is learning. Unless you only have 4 walls without any toys or playmates, almost anything is opportunities for learning, going to the park, going to supermarket, watching mum or maid cooking a dinner, using the washing machine, folding cloths, or just sit and watch the street for an hour. Sit and do nothing is not the same as hea. "Hea" is a adult term.
Kindergarten is called a kindergarten and not a playground because it has a "structure" in the curriculum, intended to teach something with objectives. Kids need time that is not structured for them to explore with no pressure and no timetable.
It just goes to show how parents loose their sanity and judgment.
