KV會收細B, 但比例唔高 ~~
其實遲一年讀都未嘗不是好事,
細B小肌肉同吸收力都較好,
會較適應KV的課程

agree with you, I've got reject letter too, my son was born on 30/12/07, also, i feel my son doesn't like the school so much cos his performance in KV was not as good as the interview in other school, hahaha, he nearly did not say a word to the interviewee in KV but he performance very talkative in other interview

Don't get upset SMALL BOYS n GIRLS.


My son got rejected and i totally respect their offer bec i believe my son who was born in oct still needs a big improvement in developing his eye-hand coordination as well as fine motor skills. (Boys' developments are slower than girls in terms of language as well as eye hand coordination and fine motor skills.  Even they offer my son a seat i don't think he could handle the writing at a younger age in KV. Also, i think he will have a lot of stress meeting KV's standard.  It is not a bad thing to get rejected for an October boy bec it is better than getting accepted and having a harsh school life in KV.
Anyway, congrats to all who are accepted by KV~

my girl was borned end of 10/07.
Got waiting list, very disappointed.

Although being a small girl, my girl can communicate complete sentences(but very little voice with strangers).

She answered all the questions, and did all tasks in the interview(as far as i could see, cos i needed to concentrate to answer teacher's questions, too.)

For this reason, i could not hear my girl sing.
It was the teacher who told me: she 's so smart she sang the whole Twinkle Twinkle little stars.
(singing is my girl's 強項, she can sing more than 10 popular 兒歌in  full lyrics)


I was satisfied with my girl 's performance, she also put back the chairs (both hers and mine).

My elder son was graduated from KV 2 years ago. He is doing very well in primary school, the  teacher also asked me about how's he doing, and put remarks in her record...and now i know my son being a graduate from KV does not help his sister to get in KV.

KV helps my son built up a very strong foundation for his primary school study.
I am very diappointed, I really really hope my girl to get in.

My elder son graudated from KV this Summer.  My younger son born in September 07 and got accepted for 2010 K1.

my girl is mid 10/07, she is accepted for am class in dorset campus, she sang whole song and push back chair before saying good bye to teacher. but since she spoke in english, the teacher kept asking if we'd speak cantonese at home. i thought we'll be rejected at first.

My guess is that KV will not accept any babies born after Nov-07, even their performance are extremely good.  It maybe their first selection criteria.

But there are thousands of big B as well, so those admitted should be very smart and well-performed in the interview.

actually, although KV teachers has kids who is born in Nov/Dec 07, they are asked to be big B next year.  So there is only some special case to accept nov/dec 07.  Don't be disappointed, not only one school is suitable for your kid ge.  If they can study there, may be you still worried whether they can catch up well.

all parents, shouldn't be unhappy just becos only kinder does not accept your kid. who can guarantee you KV graduates must be smarter than others / get better primary-university or even a better life?

Hi,
My son was allcocated the 1st choice in the 2 nd roung lucky draw, so he is studying in a 津貼學校 which has nothing to do with the Kinder.

Before the lucky draw, he got offered from KTS,St. Joseph (Kowloon).SFA(1st choice, so in fact gave up other intervews afterwards).
But then we gave up SFA, too.

what i want t say is KV built up a solid foundation to my son so he can adapt P.1 life without any problems.

And that's why,  even though i have no pressure on my girl's  P.1 allocation(she can definitely goes in my son's school), i still want my girl to study in Kentville....
