我大女在 HKPS 由 playgroup 讀到畢業, 現在P.2, 而細女在 HKPS 讀緊 K1.

具我所知, 今個月一切進度會放慢, 以學生情緒為先.

以我看自己的大女, 我覺得 HKPS 的英文程度高兩級以上, 佢地教 PHONICS 一流, 學生的 reading & spelling 非常好, 而中 / 數程度只是一般, 不過如果將來你打算找 '英數' or 英文小學, HKSP 會有優勢.

至於幾時開始會學寫字, 我記得好似在 k1 下學期, 唔肯定, 亦唔知有無改變.

講到默書, HKPS 從來唔默書, 但大女升上小學唔覺得構成問題 or 不適應.

能否銜接P1, 就要看你選擇那間小學.

Your child is also international K1 class?? me too....WHich class your kid in??AM or PM, my daugther is in GE PM....

wow....I am happy to know their english standard is good...but I am a bit worry if my kid cannot catch up with their stardard...esp writing ....since my girl is small baby who born in DEC....i find she is a bit difficult to control the pen right now....

Hello!首先多謝Anxion的寶貴經驗, 但我又想問, 如果沒有默書, 學校有沒有方法令小朋友記得文字的寫法和學校有沒有測驗或考試呢?本人的女兒現讀GC1 AM class. Class teachers: 歐老師和Ms Michelle.  你們有否收到老師打電話嚟講吓小朋友在學校的情況呢?還是K1是沒有打電話給家長的環節呢?

My boy is stuyding NC am and his class teacher Miss Ma did call me to tell my boy's status at school.  I guess it was last week.

Hello, 只是分享一下, 不是什麼寶貴經驗.

dinner :
HKPS 沒有默書和測驗, 如果你擔心, 就自己 '谷' 下, 買D 練習比佢做.

我是完全沒有教大女的, 她上小學默書沒有問題, 但測驗未能熟習模式, 小一上學期有唔合格, 下學期明白了遊戲規則就 OK, 我不太著重小一/ 二的成績, 只想她先適應新環境, 因為她入了一間傳統小學 (LMC), 由 international class 轉去讀傳統小學, 她中文的成績要慢慢追.

大女兒以前也讀GC1 AM class. 她和我都很喜歡歐老師 (讀了4年最鍾意歐老師).

細女 (現在k1, pm) 第一個星期番學, 就收到老師打電話嚟講吓佢在學校的情況. 你無咩?

至於hkps的派位如何 >> 你可在HKPS一入去的那幅牆看到, 我大女那年和我相熟的家長都考入直資 / 私校, 好少和我一樣等派位.

大女而家 P2 看 P6 的 reader 都無問題, 她直情是愛上英文, 可惜, 英文只佔學校成績表的 20%, 就算她英文拿了滿分也飛不起, 哈!

不好意思...請問LMC是那間??
我平日要番工...不能同個女番學...加上HKPS唔比D家長入學校area...你話佢地個board有派位info都冇機會看ar....

你係咪CHRISTIAN, 派到LMC機會好好多.   我也打算到時先比仔仔考考直資一類小學睇下咩環境.

會唔會係去到k1 已不用flash card 呀? 只係 pg 才派呢 ? 同埋我估佢地派果包flash card 都只係比家長同小朋友睇, 佢地就無再在課堂講解, 呢樣係我估係咁.

中秋, 真係唔覺有celebration.

But during the parent meeting on 26-Sept...the teacher mentioned flash card also. But she does not mentioned when to distribute. So, I just think they will distribute later......

But PG got the card on 1st day...that's make me confused...

I was asking for the flash card also because I heard the teacher mentioned the flash cards also.

Last year when my son was in PG, we got the flash card a few days before the parent meeting.
