My son has received the Joy & Fun Music Competition application form from school, I guess it should be the same as everyone talking in this column. I've called Joy & Fun, and they confirmed that they've post letters to school to promote for the competition. His school teacher encourages students to enter it, I think the syllabus is acceptable for my son, as he can play 03-04 pieces. It's good for him no need to practise a new song. I think I'll enter for him.

The preliminary competition will be started at noon, but the actual time will be allocated for each candidate, and will be informed by phone.

By the way, the deadline is on 17/11 (next Wed). So, be quick if anyone is interested in it.

They accept late entry, since I've called Joy & Fun and ask them I'll fax the form for my younger daughter to them tomorrow!

You can check the timetable at www.jnfmusic.com.hk, then click on music competition. I've rang Joy & Fun yesterday, this is only a preliminary timetable, the confirmed one will be posted next week.
