高主教小學同St Paul boy 點棟好呢?
高小小一開始用普通話教中文的確幾好, St Paul boy 好似要P4先轉普通話教中文,遲左d,但係唔知兩間應該選那一間?是否St Paul boy 名氣大些?中學兩間那間好d?(不要計學費多少)如果選呢兩間直上中學機會大好多, 請畀d意見!

What about Maths?  St Paul uses English or Chinese

Do they have General Studies ?  English or Chinese

What about Class Size ?  Because RC got quite a big class size.

As far as I know, Ramondi College will accept Girls from
next academic year.   Like me, I got a younger girl so my preference will be Ramondi.

我知St Paul Boy Math is use Chinese, G.S is use both chines & english. Chinese is not Putonhua. 普通話每星期兩堂好似冇RC好, RC 9月招生會收女生?是否已供佈, 有幾真? 你會選St Paul or RC?好煩惱!

St Paul boy 名氣大些， 其實二間小學都好。若中學
不計學費，可選 St Paul boy.

Sorry, 原來我攪錯,你仔仔已經admited.
點解會突然收女生? 是否收生不足?  據知每年報名收生後好多家長有更好選擇後就會放棄RC. 所以你都係心7月先收到通知!Anyway, RC is a good school. 但收女生好似有d 問題!

That means when Raimondi primary school moves
to Wanchai in 2008/2009 will have girls ?

Do you know how about Raimondi Secondary school ?

HI Norakyng, Leechi,

The staff said RC will admit girls after removal to Wanchi area in 2008/9.

What my personal view is :

There are Boys school in Wanchai area like Wah Yan, St Joseph.. ( govt funded and they are both famous schools ).

And most of the family size of HK people is reduced with mainly 1-2 kids in these few years.

To increase their competitiveness by admitting girls, it is an advantage to them if RC is moving to Wanchai area.  As a private Co-edu school in Wanchai area, most parents will consider RC if they got both boys and girls at home.  Or if parents want to have co-edu school for thier kids.

For RC secondary, I have not checked...

Any news from any other mother ??

Yes, on July 7 (activities’ day for P1 students), PTA already announced
that RC will accept girl in 2008.
I think secondary school will become
co-ed gradually because of the "through-train" issue.

高主教小學是較為低調的傳統學校。 老師嚴但是很有善，老師流動性低 。不會犯小小錯就罰，不用擔心。

英文高半年，普通話中文，有英文數及英文常識, 程度會較一般小學為深。有很多補充紙功課，每星期有中、英默書，中英數常有評估，數學評估最多。
