Hi all,

Ai, just y'day I had a 'conflict' with my son regarding piano. He is not very passionate about piano, neither hate it. But same as most kids, he does not like to practise everyday. So, pushing him to practise piano everyday becomes a hardship for him, and me.

In fact, piano is not a must (for him) to me. Just that he's already studying in international school, he has not much homework, no exam or test at all. So, honestly, his life is tooooo easy. And I feel that he has very very low (or even no) sense of responsibility. By pushing him to play and practise piano persistently, I want to foster in him a sense of responsibility. And let him know that sometimes it's just not upto his own will to do (or not to do) something.

I'd already made a 'deal' with him that if he does not practise piano, I will not let him play the TV game (Wii or PS2) on the next day. Hope this might work...ai...
