spk升小穩陣喎......其實升小,要面試既一係靠小朋友,一係靠父母,cckg唔係萬能架.....可能我睇得表面左.........有錯請指正

It depends on which primary school you targeted at.  My daughter graduated in SPK, most of her classmates did apply for DG, all of them are rejected.  I only know one who is accepted by DG but the another class.  I'm not surprised because the curriculum is a bit easy and the english standard is not comparable with CCKG.  However, all of my daughter's classmates are promoted to SP Covent directly.  For CCKG, my husband friend's daughter studied in CCKG, she told me that most of her classmates got accepted by DG, but not 100%.  Her english standard is very good.  Hope this help.

CCKG K2 students can read English  books of 40-50 pages, which are similar standard to P3...!!

My kids can read only about 30 pages book, but her friend at CCKG can read 50 pages already and keep on reading 2/3 books a day.

People guess more than half of the girls will be accepted by DGJS.

What's the magic to make such a small kid to read the book about 30pages?

My kid is still depending on me to read the book for her everyday.

My kid is under peer's presssure and she knew she had to do so when all her friends read 'thick' English books, they have a list of English books ( 50 books ) ordered together by group at their KGs.

哦........我地學校唔提議帶自己書返去的,短短半晝時間,都無時間拎出黎睇..........我地都有集體訂外國書的呀,你地邊度訂書架?

School orders Oxford Trees, but they are too easy and we order from other publishers for books aimed for primary schools.

Somehow it sounds like quite stressful and competitive among children in CCKG.

Please share how you help your girl to enjoy reading wehn she's small.  My little girl just turns the pages without really reading.  
Moreover, can you tell me some tips or preparation to help my kid to be accepted by CCKG?

CCKG程度無錯係高過SPN/SPK.  SPN/SPK學生家長絕大多數target聖保祿小學, 小朋友大多抱住輕鬆心情學習. CCKG學生都仲要博一博, 家長心情完全唔同.  

雖然係咁, 唔代表SPN/SPK學生英文一定差過CCKG喎! 我個女上屆有d同學仔係畢業前, 中英文都有一般小學三四年班程度, 數學都好叻.  佢哋既家長好用心教小朋友, 我好欣賞佢哋架! 學校可以教得幾多? 呢d係家長既問題, 一分耕耘一分收獲.

想入CCKG, 咪係入到SPK K1時試吓考囉! 考到先再考慮, 考唔到都無壞呀!

Dear CCKG parents,

Do you have any idea which kindergartens in Kowloon side will normally have higher chance / % to get in CCKG?  

Besides, how is the "prospect" of the male CCKG student?  I have heard that there is high % of CCKG can get in DGJS, but how about boys? Will they also have higher chance to get in DBS? or other famous schools?
