有冇人12月2日會去 HKPS (Kowloon Tong) interview 架?

我囝囝約左1:45pm~考 playgroup (pn for 2-year)~
我打左電話問學校，佢話父或母抑或兩個一齊interview隨便我地，至於用乜language就未知，如果係國際班會用英語或國語。

Ha, my boy will have the interview at the same time.  We have applied the international class for him, how about u???
Did you hear anything about the format of the interview???

Oh really? Do you apply for their playgroup or nursery?  My son applies the international class playgroup.  Told by 2 current HKPS mummies, the interview (for application of their playgroup) will mainly ask questions to parents and only a little simple test to kids.  

I am a little bit worry about my son may not have patient to wait for a long time.  

BTW, what will be your dressing on that day?  My husband and I both agree to wear smart casual.  We think it may be too formal to wear suits.

My boy also has the international playgroup, hope he can be the classmate with your son. woww...i feel anxious about the interview, do you know what kind of questions & tests they will ask for???
Me too, my boy is supposed to be sleeping by that time, he's easy to break temper when he feels sleepy.  Hopefully he can stand till last.  Yes, we are also planned to wear smart casual for the interview.
Is the HKPS your 1st choice???

其實我係經朋友向兩位現任HKPS媽咪問路，所以詳情都唔知，淨係知道問題多數問家長，對小朋友只會問一些指令式問題，例如指出黃色波波。我朋友話兩位現任HKPS媽咪都話個interview好簡單，叫我唔洗擔心。

我只係幫個仔報左HKPS咋，我老公insist要個仔讀英普班，我又唔想佢返下午班，所以最後只得HKPS合乎雙方要求，因為我係全職媽媽，如果唔收我諗住自己教咯，反正兩歲班都唔係一定要讀，不過當然無返學咁有系統啦。

放鬆心情，輕鬆與囝囝一齊面對佢生平第一個面試，加油啊！

Hi.

As far as I know, not only HKPS provides am English & Putunghua N1 class, you can also try Kingston (am & pm) & Tutor Time (am, pm & full day).

Regarding today's interview, it is simplier than expected and only last for about 5 mins.

My son cried so loundly at the first time entering into the interview room.  So the teacher asked us to come out and let the kid clamp down.  He cried a little at the second time and then sat down on my legs.  He could response to all actions/activities but never speak a word.  The whole interview last for 10 - 15 mins.  He may be rejected after all.  :cry:

I guess your kid must be very smart during the interview.  Actually my son is now taking Tutor Time's toddler playgroup twice a week and it costs me more than $2000 per month.  In terms of $$$, we'll prefer HKPS but thanks for your information.

my son went to the HKPS (Royal Ascot) interview for playgroup yesterday

we applied for the international stream and the interview was conducted by a western lady in English.

How was the interview???  My boy had a mandarinese interviewer, we had told her about that 80% of the time my boy were having english and he didn't know how to speak yet, but she kept asking my boy to tell her his name and tell him to hand her an apple (in Mandarinese).

I guess my boy will be rejected probably.

hi my boy also attended the interview on Sat., it's lucky that the interview held in English, i wonder if he'll give any response in Mandarin cos we'd never speak Mandarin with him yet!  (just know interview may also be held in PTH on the day!!)

but actually, too many people, hope we all hv chance la!

They said the result will be mailed on or before Jan 6, 07.
Still a month to go...... so worry la.......

Hi all,
My boy had a mandarinese interviewer as well.  The teacher also asked my boy to give daddy an apple and what's his name.  My boy could response in action but never spook a word (since he knows mandrain from grandmother).  He got a toy as gift at the very beginning of the interview as he cried just after entering the room.
We do think that he may be rejected probably.

完了面試會有份小禮品給小朋友。

我想亞仔面試應該會是失敗，皆因三條問題他只能答對一題，加上我又覺得自己答得又係麻麻。你們 interview國際班時老師有沒有問你們需要用國語或英文老師呢？

你地覺得老師叫小朋友做的test是屬於易或深呢？其實我都覺得幾失望，除了亞仔的表現，整個interview都係講lucky，因為睇吓你遇的interviewer好唔好，同鍾唔鍾意你個小朋友。其實我真係無想過那麼那麼多人去面試，我想約1000人裡選100人。我問過學校佢地今次收生約90-100人。
