想請問各家長,有冇試過所考的私小全部唔成功?好驚,愈睇BK愈驚,因我個仔又怕醜又唔肯(或者唔識),真係驚冇私小 收佢!

Don't worry!!

If you don't mind many homework and dictation, you may choose PLK, they may have plenty of seats in June 2007.  Usually, after people are accepted by GT, Logos and EC, they will give up PLK.

Further, they only chagre around HK$1000 per month.  Many people say it is a good deal, and it is one of the reasons people choose it.

孩子在那區就讀呢? 當時我也有你的情況, 現在孩子讀一間傳統教學的私小,我感到很滿意呢..

Don't worry too much. 我個侄仔去年的經驗是間間都係waiting list. 但3月突然收到真道同優才都收. 報直資及私小的都會報數間. 到真的要交學費時先會選定一間. 我自己都會交留位費先, 但講到要交學費, 就會想清楚要放棄那些. 到時d位就會出番來.

吾洗咁驚，吾會無既，好似崇真，九龍塘學校，啓思都吾難入，而呢3間都ok la，以我所知崇真 and九龍塘學校每年都會收多D學生，因為佢地預左D學生有更好offer時就會退學。  我識好多家長，佢地D小朋友都考呢3間做back up, 試下la, 努力呀！

Hi filifala,

Don't worry too much, my kid has applied 4 last years and all failed (some in waiting list)and he has got his first priority school in the 2nd round lucky draw.

去年聖母小學都唔駛interview, 只係寄張成績表, 好多都收左, don't worry!!

What do you comment about PLK TSL and PLK Choi Kai yau School.

Both TSL and CKY are strong in English.  TSL has higher ratio of non-Chinese kids and it provides good English speaking environment. TSL is DSS and school fee is cheaper than CKY. But TSL doesn't have 一條龍中学, that's the concern.  School environment of CKY is better and bigger....anyway, I do apply both

So far, 無學校收my boy.  I've applied 10 DSS/Private school, 5 got interviewed but up till now, result still -ve......a bit worried

hard to say, have to check to different school  if they still get enough students after the 1st lottery. Some parents may shift to the govt/aided school.

Hi Jovis,

Do you mean PLK TSL ? As I refer to the message in BK, the whole interview are speaking in English. When sometime I ask my son some simply question, he just said in Chinese, "don't understand, don't know how to speak in English" I really don't know how to train him at this critical period.

By the way, I have applied PLK TSL, ST JOSEPH, ST. FRANCIS, ALLIANCE, KLN RHENISH, I MISSED THE REGISTRATION FOR KLN TONG PRIMARY SCHOOL.

Meanwhile, I live in Kwun Tong area, so I would prefer to seek a private school as piroity, since I have no idea which school at KT is better, as well as refer to BK, the most famous school (津校) in KT area競爭情況similar to famous school such as LA SALLE (of course not as much as canadates).

恕我直言,你真係幾大胆,but if u have15 - 20 scores on hand, then no worry about that

I heard some mum said, if you plan the child would be on board when elder, it is ok to apply CKY, otherwise, it is better not to choose this school as the syllabus not suit for HK education scheme.

Correct me for any wrong info.

都恕我直言--蘇州過後無艇搭啊! 到時好d既學校, 自己都有一大條waitlist, 你想叩門都幾難.........
submit左申請表先啦! 壓力係自己俾架姐 平常心lor, interview幾時都講天時地利人和, esp group interview, 成組人點樣interact, 好影響表現架, 可能有個小惡霸, 攪到成組人無晒mood, 又可能咁arm有幾個都outgoing, 帶動成組氣氛呢! (我女女好好彩, 屬於後者)
