My daughter is feeling happy when she goes to that school. Actually, you know now they are一條龍 with the secondary school. So they are very emphasis on English. Before Sep/05, the headmaster of the Secondary also attend the P1 簡介會. Now she is校監 of the primary school. She said that St Mark’s Primary should improve & educate a good English student. Otherwise , student will difficult to connect with the secondary school.
Let’s talk how they learn English so far which I saw. Total they have about 9 English courses/week. (I need to check the actual when I back to home) These included 4 English drama course, educated by outsider English teacher. English reading course, their foreign teacher with local teacher, about 2course/week. Moreover, school need parent to buy a series of English story books. Will be distribute to us periodically and need the student to finished them in time.
I feel that they are improving and must improve to meet with the secondary school. However, primary headmaster said that , students will not have a lot of homeworks. Being confirmed 一條龍. They want their students to have more time on other things. By the way, they just finished inside renovation. Enviroment and facilites are good. You can go to that school to see details. Actually, last week I saw many K3 parents in school talked to the headmaster and look around the school.
