My elder kid has already graduated from LLC (HK - CWB) and my younger kid is still studying there. Be relaxed about kindergarten interviews, you'll not be asked questions! how could you expect a 2 year old child to say anything very fluently?! The interview rundown has been unchanged over these few years. There are 2 parts of it. When you first arrive at the school, you're invited to stay in a classroom with the kids and let the kids play the toys and relax. They would do the interview in batches. It starts with a short briefing, and then the teachers would bring your kids to another classroom, and in the classroom, there're many different toys laid out and your kid is free to choose the toys they like and start playing with it. During the process, the teacher would sit next to the kid chatting and playing the toys with them. Parents should come together with the kids. I think you should show your care to the kid while at the same time showing that you know how to provoke the thoughts of the kid during the process of you playing with him. But I think parents should not interrupt to much.
The second part of the interview is in group. I don't call it an interview. As in this part, the kids are asked to sit on chairs arranged in a horseshoe, parents sitting at their back. It starts with singing together with the teachers (I think it's for warm up). Then the principal would tell the kids a story and the school supervisor would sit at the back observing the facial expression or reaction of the kids. After that, the kids are asked to say goodbye to the principal one by one.
Good luck to your kid!
