Swimming Class in St. Paul Convent

I have once been advised that there was swimming class for kids at St. Paul Convent in Causeway Bay. Do you have any idea or information that can be shared for my follow up action? I want to find a good swimming class for my kids from 3 - 5 years ols. Many thanks.

我都同意Charlotte_mom既講法,我個女響果度學左14個月連一步都游唔到,後來轉左去南華會,游左大半年,而家已經可以游到50米蛙啦,但自由式就仲學緊,佢唔多夠膽呀!

你可否介紹南華會教練比我呀, 因個contact lists 有多教練, 都唔知邊個比較好d , 同價錢又合理.

Sometimes the reason why the child can't learn to swim is because they are afraid of water in the 1st place.My own personal experience is not to start formal lessons too early esp if they are afraid of water. My kid learnt to swim in a few lessons (without floats)with a private coach when she turned 6. But before 6, she played happily in the swimming pool for many years with her daddy.

agree that hoi Tin coaches are not too effective for kids who are beginning to learn. 1-1 coaching more effective , then group lessons when they can already swim without floating aids in one style for 50m.(save money lah)

我囝囝4歲半起在st paul 海天學了11個月，一對四，每星期一堂，昨天終於見到佢用蛙式游了2/3個池，真係好開心！在這11個月，我一直都懷疑係個仔蠢，定係個教練"史"，同好多家長一樣直覺都係海天唔掂，又或者一對四唔得focus！但見到佢學曉後，我理性的分析告訴我，亞仔尊注力不足，上堂時掛住玩多過游，直到最近終於開竅！至於泳會好定私人好，就視乎其他環境因數如Budget, Location.  而孩子的年紀太小及資質亦會影響進度！

咁"海天" 唔掂,  請問 "大x" 好唔好 ? "南華會" 有無多啲資料 ?

我囝囝現在4歲, 上年初試"史x福"半年情況同charlotte_mom 完全一樣 , 但囝囝連自己游2步都未識   可能當年囝囝仲細, 比例難上手. 今年真係想正正經經學游水, 請大家比啲意見 !
