我個女考到九龍塘真光小學07年小一, 其實我都幾鍾意此學校, 但有些可惜中學部是中文中學, 有沒有現在在小學部讀緊的朋友來分享吓?小六派位的情况怎樣?

我個姪女係呢間讀緊 , 我覺得唔好 ,因為佢學到好 naughty ,成日 寸人 ,嚇人 & 懶叻 .
成日話間學校好多功課 ,做到夜晚11:00p.m都未做完.
佢呀媽仲話要好勁個o的先到上真光中學 , 佢得兩班 ,大約得一班o既人先可以升到上真光中學 .
而我自己就覺得校舍太細 ,活動空間太少 .而加有好多私校都係千禧校舍 such as 九龍塘宣道 ,九龍塘學校 , 民生書院小學 ,培正 ...... 民生 & 培正仲可以直升中學 ,九龍塘&九龍塘宣道派位也唔差
如果俾我 choose ,我唔會 擺真光係 first choice

Hello,sps:我的看法是有沒有中學連接也不是最重要的因素,因我覺得升中基本是以成績,品德,等來收生的,那若小朋友的成績有番甘上下,也不愁會派得不好,小小個人睇法

小女今年在真光讀小一, 我覺得間學校好好, 老師,校長都很有愛心, 至於做工課多少, 其實每個小朋友都不同, 我個女每日用三十分鐘做完工課, 至於禮貌, 某星期六運動會我去了當義工, 小朋友都很聽話, 我時常都同老公講阿女真好彩, 我地無選錯學校.

Any idea on the 香港區那間真光 (Tai Hang Road)?  I'm considering this and Pui Ching.

My girl also takes a seat from Tai Hang True Light, I like this school very much,she also has accepted by some kowloon side private school.We live in Kln side,so this is a big problem to solve as it is too far & tired for a small kid to go fr Kln side to HK side.
If I live HK side, no need to think any more.
So I understand your consideration.

Hi queen65921,

Thanks for your sharing. I understand this year i.e. 05/06 there is one route going to Tseung Kwan O from TL.  If I pick TL, the timing is abt the same cos we'll be at abt the last station b4 going to HK side.  Of course the fee for school bus will be higher.  Bear in mind also the school starts earlier in PS rather than in Kinder.  

The staff said it all depends if there will be more than 1 route going to Kln side next year ie. 06/07.   

Can you tell me more abt this school?  Why do you like this school?  I heard the English standard is not very high in Kinder but not sure in PS.  

There is another TL in HK side, do they have any relationship.  But I don't see it in their website.

As you said the English standard is not very high but I know they are good at  moral education.I think this is more important & I believe I can keep my girl the English standard.I paid the deposit that day, I saw ...
"中學部剛剛小息(要在中學部交留位費), 見到班女學生好整齊,好斯文,有禮貌,連校務處d校務員好親切及有笑容. 越來越鍾意這間學校" . But it is too far & had checked the transport fee is about 2/3 of school fee.Is it worth & afraid my girl is too hard & tired.  so...
