I have one stupid question, if I only go to submit application late Sep (cos not in hk now), would it be too late? Interview depends on the sequence of submitting the forms?

Different practice for different schools - the one I applied for my daughter said admission would not be according to sequence of receiving the forms.
You need to keep an eye on the respective application deadlines of the schools you are interested in.
