Recycle the school uniforms

I think school uniform really not worth to buy. Kids grow fast and the school uniform is not cheap. If you have sibing, then it is better. But nowadays, only one or two kids in a family, sometimes I really think it is very wasteful.

I think all the schools should have a campaign that to collect the old school uniforms from parents or graduates, and then re-distribute to students who want. I know some of the schools have those practice. But I think like the organisations that encourage environmental friendly should raise these campaign to schools.

I do agree your points of view.
Sometimes, I have old uniform. I want to give away. But nobody dare to take it. Because parent only have one child, they prefer to buy something new for their dear son or daughter.

for me, I don't mind, if somebody give out their uniform that is still wearable.

Last year, I donated the old school uniforms to Caritas Centre.  They collect uniforms of different schools by end of the term and distribute to those who need them.  So you can consider this option.

小囡學校的PTA每年(兩次, 分冬,夏季)都有校服回收並認領的活動.
義工媽媽們先將回收到的校服以種類及尺碼進行分類, 然後以有份捐出校服者可優先的形式, 在早上上堂前, 供有興趣的家長認領. 這類安排很環保, 挺受家長們歡迎呢.
