Do you know about the form of the piece?
Did you pay attention to the chord progression?
Did you compared the similarity and difference of phrases?
Memorize it with hand separately before putting them together
Play it slowly and make sure you know in your mind the note after each note, not just memory by your hand
Memorize a short section each day...
Start to memorize a fresh new section before revising the old one....
