入BAND 1與BAND 2學校的比較

本人與心理學家傾談後,發現原來本人兒子適合就讀BAND 2,但本不想,請問有什麼看法

似乎這是我第一次聽這樣的評論，某些學生適合band2，某些學生適合band1；一般的説法是，一些學生適合传統教學法的學校，一些學生適合多元化學校，等等；最重要是在band1中，也有不同類型的學校。不知該心理學家的詳細見解是什么？！

分數定高低不等于頭腦好，對！！
但....
band1著重讀書或分數，也不等于頭腦不好！

我覺得佢講o既野唔太岩, 你一出黎做野就已經睇成績黎分啦
如果分數唔高, 但頭腦好, 比你有得升職, 但升到一個程度就升唔到嫁啦

他的意思是不要於小學階段,給他太大壓力,

因BAND 2功課不是太多,可以做他事,如研究,如一位中五學生不用讀完中五,便可讀大學,因研究成勁

There is banding only for P.6 students, which band 2 schools are you referring to?  Primary or secondary?  How come BAND 2功課不是太多??  If then, Band 3 schools have even less homework??  Not logical at all!!

Whoever that specialist you were talking to, he is merely making a generalisation. All schools are different, even amongst Band 1 schools.
Many not-so-famous schools are also very aggressive in earning fame or "name". Especially Band 2 schools because it might be just one small step for them to get into the "Band 1 ranking". So many of these school can also be pushing hard so that their students would have better results in public exams like HKCEE. With better results, they can attract more band 1 students, thus making them a so-called Band 1 school.
BTW, I thought only students are ranked by banding, not the school? Or is my understanding wrong?

Honestly, I do not know. But may be some other serious parents might have similar questions. So I do not mind using up some of my time typing up a reply.

If you are serious, pls make sure U know what is the meaning of 'banding', band 幾唔係以功課和教學模式分

請問從什麼地方可得知每間學校是Band1 or Band2?

1.  香港小學是沒有分BANDING 喎. 只有學生分 BANDING

2.  不知您是否指  % 多 去 BAND  2 中學 就是 BAND 2 小學

3.  如是 !   就不明白為何要這樣選校啦. 實在言之過早 . 如果小朋友 真的是 BAND 2  學生. 將來就會自自然派了去 BAND 2 中學 .   

4. 如果不是 . 咁您是否指 傳統 VS 活動  學校 .  (要明白 多 BAND 1  學生  未必 = 傳統學校.  相反也是一樣)

5. 現行 香港 小一 至小 三 多數也叫做活動教學 .  但上了 小4  之後 又點 會唔 谷呀 !!!!!    除非您讀國際學校.  否則大部份學校都係一樣.

6. 適當的功課量默書是可以幫助學生.  如果小朋友在做功課上出現問題.  應該要對症下藥.   

7  香港讀書好難不下苦功.  看您想先甜後苦. OR  跟應潮流循序漸進 .   

8. 不要想太多了.  如果您怕傳統學校扼殺您兒子的時間, 那麼就選擇一些非傳統名校已經足夠 .


(木不啄不成器. 不要太早保護小朋友. 否則他們的路會很難行. )
