I don't think the incident is of much concern to the parents and kids.

My kid is learning chess in the other famous one in Mongkok, and the administration there is even worse.  Schedule overran seriously in almost every competition, and the "small marks" are not transparent to the competitors.  There are rumours that they manipulate (by mis-calculate) the marks. They say that the opponents in the competition are matched by computer, but in fact in many cases the opponents (especially during the final or semi-final rounds) are changed by the management, when they want certain kid to win out!

比賽中，如果局數唔多，如果你唔係取得第一名，那麼第二名至第五六名的名次，都未必得作準。如果對手唔作弊(還聽家長說有老師會教學員作弊招數，唔知真定假？)，只要取得第一名，你才覺得是公平﹗
曾上過一些course，參加了幾次比賽，從中知道香港的圍棋界人事真的好複雜。 (連普通家長都睇得出加埋聽埋聽埋.....)
加上，學到高級的真的好貴，唔單對單根本學唔到乜。
加下乾脆唔俾囝囝去學，佢鍾意就自己自學，上網玩玩算了﹗

我個仔都成日參加圍棋比賽, 如果係香港的賽事好少有作弊的情形出現, 反而大陸會多d, 但如果話係電腦揀選對手就真係有問題, 好多時棋會會揀一些對佢地自己棋手有利既對手作賽, 叮鈴講得岩丫, 除左第一名之外, 第二至六名都唔可以作準, 我個仔玩左四年圍棋, 但熱誠一d 都冇減度, 依然咁鍾意, 而家學棋既費用真係一d都唔平, 但睇番所有既課外活動如果到左某一定水準, 學費冇一樣係平, 好似我個朋友個仔學琴到左某個水準, 學費貴就預左, 但而家話連玩球類活動都唔得, 整親對手, 咁相比圍棋, 淨係用個腦就方便得多, 所以我地會繼續供佢學棋, 玩下棋, 睇下書, "牙"下d時間, 等佢完全冇時間接觸遊戲機, 況且學圍棋係訓練個腦, 第日老左都唔一定要玩麻雀先可以防老人痴呆...
