But most APS students can join band 1 schools in Kowloon City and some very famous secondary schools, why your friend plan to switch to another school?  To save the school fees?

他曾經說他小朋友要寫一份有關煮牛排的工課(要全英文)﹐他幫小朋友做了三張半紙﹐但老師看也沒看內容就說﹐大部份人都能做五張紙﹐你這一份不合格﹐要再做個。(我都唔明紙張數目有甚麼重要﹐內容才重要架)

I believe in order to survive, most local schools are 越來越谷, no matter private or govt!  A lot of projects are done by parents, not students as the school requires very high standard outputs!!

Just wonder which school does your friend choose now?  Those new DSS?  Or international schools?

I also heard that some APS students will try to apply MCS, St. Mary, Heep Yunn etc. as all these have secondary schools.

If then, Holy Family may be more preferred than APS as it has secondary school as well.

請問知不知是那年級的功課？

宣小每年有兩份projects：一份常識project和一份科學 project。這兩份projects要孩子獨力完成，會有困難。起碼，我囡囡現在三年級，我仍然是要幫她手做這兩份projects。

但是，在英文科，我從來無幫她手做任何功課或projects。我記得囡囡曾經有一份功課要introduce a dish和介紹怎樣做，但無話要幾多頁。其實我很想知道，妳說的是不是高年班的功課？其他的同學是否有能力應付？不是所有家長都英文好。照計，學校唔會期望家長幫手做英文功課。無可能叫家長做5頁功課，聽落係好唔合理。而且如果老師會改，會俾分的話，咁唔係變左家長學英文。

my daughter came from APS, APS is a good school, but it is considered that many works is required and tuition fee more than $26,000 per year.  but teachers have heart to teach during the lessons.  

As financial difficulties, my daughter was forced to change another one Holy family.  She was not really happy because she liked APS so much.  At first year she studied in Holy family, she said it is OK.  However, in the second year, she was not very happy depends on teachers and students.  she thought that she cant be motivated, and teaching methods is not really worked and dull.  English standard is not really high,  English learning is by herself.  Before Exam, around 2-3 weeks, students were received a past tense worksheet for selfstudy. oh! oh!.........

At first,  why my daughter changed from APS to Holy Family because of direct link to Holy Family college.   

Now,  Oh Oh                 disappointed.
