Hello everyone. I have been following your threads for a long time. that was before my son joins KCS and now he is finishing K1. How come no more news from you after xmas !?

Can you please tell me if it is hard to adapt from kindergarten to P1 given K1-3 is quite relaxed. Should we start learning maths/eng etc say in K2 to prepare for primary school?

I suspect if I just go by KCS's teaching, it is likely to be insufficient for some other schools. However to go from KCS kindergarten to primary, is the transition smooth, based on your experience? Are the kids well-equipped to move to its own primary school?

I heard some other schools (which also have primary schools) do not connect well with its own primary school and so kids need to go and take up extra classes early. I wonder if it is the same case with KCS ?

I suppose my next worry is : keen competition. I think KCS primary is becoming more popular than a few years ago!

Good to hear your sharing. I'm also trying to implant positive mindset. Whenever teacher gives some colouring homework (very rare really), I try to sound so enthusiastic, so i hope my son will think homework is a good thing in future :)
