Lelia, can you help answer the following....
1) Is the standare in St Clare very simple? Cos somepp here says the standard is low. LIke Maths only teach 1-10? I'll be surprised cos in K3, they are already learning more.....
2) Are the teachers too conservative? When I went for registration, the staff are nice but I notice they are somewhat 'old fashioned'.  So would the teaching staff be update with the standard out there?
3)Just to share, I watch the girls today, they are very cute....they appear to be so comfortable in the cosy environment of St Clare and are quite free to move about during the recess.....And staff are also polite to them when they speak to them.....

You are absolutely welcome and I'm happy to help.

Since it's getting late so I just briefly answer you Qs here:
1) Do you mean learning 1 - 10 in P.1 Maths? That will be too much of a surprise to me too!! At St. Clare's , Maths is taught in English and they are using the textbook from Longman, i.e. Longman Primary Mathematics. Perhaps you could visit any of the bookshop around and look for this textbook so that you could have a clear picture of what topics the P.1 girls are learning.
2) The teaching staff are all friendly and caring for the girls and yet demanding from the girls' acheivement both academically and in extra curriculum activities. I can't say that they are old-fashioned people but they are actually creative since the girls are very much enjoying themselves in their school life. The staff in the school office have been helpful too and experienced.
