我是播道書院家長, 不想在此評論好與否你可以去學校聽下簡介會, or 到學校門口親身暸解問問其他家長意思, 這是最直接的方法. 如果其他問題可以早上8:00 - 8:20 分左右到學校詢問校長, 因校長每天都會在門口同小朋友 say hi.

  其實我相信現在香港的大部份小學水準不會差到那裡, 差距不像以往般大,而且小朋友讀任何一間小學都一定會開心的, 有咁多新朋友, 不像我們大人咁多顧慮, 咁多擔憂, 不過學校門口有沒有校長同你小朋友打招呼的嘢其實好死的, 門面功夫啫(我個人認為), 最重要大家happy, 家長同小朋友都讀得開心, 覺得值回票價, 讀邊間都差唔多啫.

What you said is quite interesting.  You said "香港的大部份小學水準不會差到那裡..."  Really?  Can you give some examples?

Now a lot of parents try very hard to find a so called "good" school - bilingual (use English and Mandarin), nice campus, good teachers, has through train one dragon, low school fee, take band 1 students etc etc....

So are these new DSS such as 播道書院, Logos, Pui Kiu, TSL, St. Margaret Co-ed etc. are more or less the same??  Are they really worth for the fee?  For the kids, they may be happy to study in any one school,  no matter govt school or DSS or private, they can always make new friends as you said.  So do you think it is worthwhile to choose these new DSS instead of govt schools then?

Sometimes really feel that it will be so ideal if it is true that 香港的大部份小學水準不會差到那裡 and we can just send our kids to the school downstairs without going through so many interviews, lucky draws etc., just like living in Canada.

So is your kid studying in DSS or govt school now?

hi all Evangel college parents,

i'm going to apply 08 P1 for my son . should i hand in a portfolio with the application?  any limit on the portfolio?
and is it the school will have one interview on the child and parents (same day)?

i really wish my son can get a place in this school

"好"與"不好"真是見仁見至，每人都有自己嘅喜好，你認为好的，在另一個人身上可能是不外如是或者相反。

播道的优、劣，你可以到"播道書院"的主題中尋找，作为此校家長，此终会有偏袒，不便太多評論，作为過來人，只要不太差，報咗先算，收咗先再考慮啦，(太現實吧！ )
