Last night I was reading a book to my 5 year old daughter (Daisy and the trouble with life) and I found it so funny. I highly recommend this book to all parents with a sense of humor. I love this book!

I took out "daisy the trouble with kitten" and it is a lot funnier! My daughter loves it!

我最愛看輕鬆惹笑的東西，見有推介，二話不說前往圖書館借來 Daisy and the TROUBLE with LIFE，不消一會兒便 KO 了它。

單看封面設計、人物造型，感覺蠻像櫻桃小丸子，再看內文，Daisy 連性格也有點像小丸子，管她說的想的，都很讓人捧腹；不同的是，小丸子有個完整家庭，Daisy 父親卻早已離世，由母親帶大。

作者觀察力好強，很多生活細節都捕足得到，亦深明兒童心態；我們每個人都曾經是小不更事的傢伙，卻不一定都理解兒童心理。

之所以覺得故事有趣，是因為好些情節都「估佢唔到」，但在兒童立場來看，「又係喎」。

文字淺白，生活化，行文多同一句型反覆使用，卻又不失趣味，易於讓小朋友牢記。

年紀較小的可先從 Daisy 的 picture books 入手，較年長的可加看其 chapter books.

Thank you for all sharing ! I hv much interest on this book. How can I found the book, is it at non fiction section?

My daughter is studying P1 now, she started to read Rainbow Magic. Although she can not totally understand all the words, but she had fininsh 2 books. I feel so exciting !! I am still looking for some funny book which can attract her.

On the other hand, I found a chinese book was quite good which is call 我愛瑪婷. It can find at 翻譯小說 section, the word is quite suitable for P1. The story is long enoung, with beautiful picture and the topic was close to real life. I think it can help their chinese comprehensive also.
