My son is also 3 years old, he has very poor attention and an assessment was done for him half a year ago, the result showed that he has attention deficit and delay development.  He has been receiving training for half a year and showed improvement now.  He now can stay in table tasks for more than 30 minutes.  I suggest you can do some table tasks with him everyday, like coloring, drawing, building cubes....etc.  From my experience, if you spend time to teach him everyday, he will have improvement gar!  Add oil!

Thanks for your information, and I would like to have the same assessment for my boy too.  Would you mind to give me the details?
My boy now is 3 years old, and it is very hard to get his attention, even story reading he only can stay with me around 5-10 mins.  I just want to find a method to catch his attention!
