Can anyone recommend 兒童合唱團 suitable for 6/7 yr old kid in Kowloon ? Thanks.

Choir of Outstanding Children.
Weekly practise at hk cultural centre.
If you want more attention to individual child, it's a good choice with small class teaching unlike other choir, suitable for serious learning.

As i know some BK mamas think yip's is good. But let me share the experience of me and from what i heard from friends...

1. My friend got wrongly deducted money from her bank accounting and she had a bad experience with the admin there. Sometimes she already paid the fee but the admin kept calling her and ask her to pay.

2. In some junior class the size is too big, 2x - 30 people. Imagine how much the singing teacher can individually coach your child...

3. Sometimes I did see 3 different teachers in a month. I don't think the progress can be good in such condition.

4. There were times that short notice was given to inform you your time slot has changed/your class will be cancelled FOREVER/class location has changed from this centre to that. It's very very hard for parents to arrange. I know that some parents let their kids quit the class because of this.

Their senior choir (with mostly secondary school students) is very good. But I have question on the junior group...

really?  which choir is most recognised and preferred by primary schools? for parents, we want our children to learn and at the same time we want a rewarding experience.  (sorry for being realistic!)

I guess it's HK Children's Choir. But it's hard to get in. Students need to pass their audition to get a vacancy in the choir.
