請問有無好嘅英文/益智教材介紹俾0-2歲BB呀?

三,四個月大係重聽覺發展,可以聽BB音樂或古典音樂或任何教材.長時間連續播都無問題,但當然要有停頓休息的時間,音量不可太大.
六個月大才開始比佢視覺的刺激,電視播放只可以15分鐘.隨住年紀的長大,可以慢慢加長播放時間.
到BB七個月大做聽覺測試,佢的反應真係相當靈敏.

選擇教材,家長請先親自睇睇demo,比較價錢,衡量可以負擔的開支.

DWE "lay Along" and "Sing Along"
係幾好,但我唔會將佢俸為神.
唔係無用,但價錢不成比例,廣告效應大於實際.
適合學前BB, 0-2歲BB可以學到一些英文和動作.
至於大套的Exercise Book,你估幾大才會做習作本呢?  到時還有興趣做嗎?

Mother goose
唔錯,都可以學到一些英文,價錢responsible.
但歌仔似 poem 多過daily use English.

BB 愛因斯坦
可以話益智和有啟發性的,但我相信同學英文係無關,因為我睇過一集係完全無對白的,.

Disney cartoon 加個別獨立的英文生字.
可以不作考慮,更不適合0-2歲BB.只適合已懂英文的小朋友當cartoon 睇.

聽說Barney都唔錯,而且價錢responsible.但唔知適唔適合0-2歲.

自10個月大,我同佢玩 flash card, read story book.
I believe parent are their first teachers.
我會選擇比BB 2歲後上native English speaking 的Playgound, 因為Playgound係 interactive 的, 而電視播放係 passive 的. 而且不適合長時間睇,除了影響眼睛,還會限制創作思維,只會望住電視被動地接收資訊,不動腦筋.
所以我只會花適量的金錢落視聽教材.
(所有過萬元的教材都係養活公司和Sales).  

純粹個人意見以作參考,請多集資料,自行分析.

Barney唔錯,好多歌仔, 而且仲係人人都識唱, 朗朗上口。我覺得小朋友鐘意跟佢唱歌多過學到英文。

純粹個人意見以作參考,請多集資料,自行分析.

I agree that attending Native English Playgroup is more interactive. But the playgroup usually lasts for about 1 to 1.5 hours per session and is quite expensive i.e. around $100 to $200 per session. If we have some home materials in English, the babies can have more chance to expose to English and the cost is comparatively lower (average).

I think that if you can't afford expensive materials, you can consider some cheaper one. It can still let your babies expose to English environment at very early stage. And you can apply it repeatedly.  Also when you attend playgroup, you have to check whether the teacher is a real native speaker because I find that some teachers are not native speakers but they declare that they are. Besides, the duration of the playgroup is very short. You would expect much if you only attend for a short time, say a few months.

有冇留意最近於5月有套以'蒙特梭利'理念出版的互動英文遊戲書，Hurry English 1(48本), Hurry English 2(48本) & 故事書 Story Boom Boom(35本)， 全套書設計是根據兒童心智發展而編寫，加上大部份是從互動遊戲形式學習，又無電視VCD成份，故小朋友可以主導學習，從中吸收。

After few research and study, I have finally decided to purchase Hurry English 1 &2 at the moment. It seems that these education material is really good for enlightening the babies. Beside the english, it takes care the needs of the babies in several aspects. I hope I will find the material useful for the development of my baby as well.

I highly recommend "Mother Goose"!   All songs in Mother Goose are actually "rhythm and rhyme"!

My husband grew up in London.   He says Mother Goose is traditional English and NOT American English.   

Although all are rhythms and rhymes.   It's good for baby to learn how to pronouce the words properly.  It is because in the same song, there are "mouse" and "house" which are very similar in pronunciation.   It's easy for baby to learn phonics.   

For example, there are also "clip-clop", "clippety-clop" and "trit-trot" in the same song!   Even for my husband, he doesn't know the meaning, they seems to be some sounds only.   But because the pronunciation for those words are similar, it's good for baby to remember it very easily.

You better buy it in Singapore Popular Bookstore, the price is 1/5 of the price in HK.   (HK : around HK$2,800      and    Singapore : around HK$600+)

I bought Montessori and Singapore version Mother Goose for my bb. If you can't afford too expensive materials, I think Mother Goose is value for money. One hundred something per package (totally 4 packages) but it includes 1 VCD (=4 VCDs of HK version), 1 CD(= 4 CDs of HK version), 4 books and a toy. I learnt it from this website and I orderd the package online by myself. I really want to thank you those BK mums who introduce lots of new and valuable materials here which I don't have time to search. I bought Mother Goose is solely for the supplement of Montesorri materials as the content of Mother Goose is mainly songs for bbs. I found that my bb is still too young to understand and read Montesorri books at this stage and I play the music of Mother Goose to my bb first. The response of each bb is quite unique. If you buy expensive materials and it turns out that your bb doesn't like it, that's really a waste of money. Lastly, I won't expect too much from Mother Goose (to teach BB English). What do we expect from a 0-2 bb?We just want to create an environment for our bbs to have interest in foreign language and develop good reading habit. The above is just my personal view.

1)Sing version Mother goose : resonable price. suite from new born.
2)Mozart cds : Suite from new born  
3)Barney VCDs : Suite from 1 yr up  
4)First Step to reading from East West from
Taiwan : Suite from 6mths up.
5) Phonics Kids from East West from Taiwan, suite from 6 mths up.

The above I suggest material are good result, fun and cheap in price.

u can find barney in Toy r us, around $50/vcd. U do not need to buy the them all, just see  which topics your kid interested.

My baby is around 4 months.  I also purchased Singapore version of  Mother Goose to my BB last week through internet.  Please let me know whether "honics Kids" is similar to Mother Goose so I do not need to buy Phonics Kids.

Except for Mother Goose, I now decide another learning materials for my BB. As I can't afford to buy DWE, please advise me which one is the best of the following products :-

- First step to reading and other products provided by GC; or
- English Time; or
- Montesorries.

What I know is that English Time is mainly for the child at above 3 years old. I think English Time will not be so suitable for your 4 months old baby.

If you can afford, I highly recommend Montessori. I won't expect a 4 months old baby to start learning english. But Montessori material do offer very good environment for babies to get in touch of reading english. Even for me, I like the material and the picture very much.
