OST/ORT -- 分享使用心得

我買了ost, 加部份ORT, 但咁多書，想請教你地點用o黎教小朋友呢??
e.g.(1) reading the story for fun, probably to enhance their listening comprehension?
(2) read and teach the words?
(3) how often to start a new book?
(4) go back to previous books for "revision" at regular intervals?
Please share your experience.  Tks.

My son is 2 year 5 month.  I use the OST.  He likes reading very much and we have read all levels in 2 days.  Then, we will repeat and repeat all levels again and again. He has listened to the stories many times and able to read the first level on his own.

He reads 15-20 mins in the morning on one level.  (he always chose the blue set)

In the evening, he will ask me to go thru all stories again and again.

I don't teach the word because he is not interested. As long as he is happy to read, he will learn the words later.

I also use OST.  At first, I let my son describing the story.  After that, I let him turn over the book and listen to the CD at the same time.  I will lead him pointing to the words and read aloud following the CD.  At the same time, he will ask the meaning and I will tell him.

He reads one book at one time and let him repeat until he can master the pronounication and meaning of the words before I start another book.

Actually, I am a 'new hand' because I bought the books early this month.
