Hi summer,

your baby looks so cute and grows quite a lot. My elder daughter will be 3 yrs old this Mar. Her language enviroment is a bit complicated that also made her language late development. But she is very talkative now. we have Cantoness, English, Shanghainess and some Japanese at home. She is now attending nursery where Chinese and White both attend the class. The teachers are both chinese and native English speaker. She understand English, Cantonese and Shanghainess and can express English and Cantoness very well. She will follow and repeat what I said esp the new things. Now, I am spending her bath time to teach her Japanese. She already can introduce herself in Japanese, of course, very simple one. I am now trying to teach her some words related to daily life but have some difficultis as she may have confusion if the word is from my mouth. She gets used to speak English with me when I change the tone to English. I think kids are very good at adpating new things. Yesterday, my daughter picked up a toy and asked me "what is this" in Japanese. So, if you want to train you baby, I think you can start, but do it in consistant way.

只要有咁既環境,其實係絕無問題的,我表哥一家,本身講上海話,父親講四川話,一家小時已移民外國,所以操純正英文,學校時要修埋法文,咁普通話亦係好正宗,佢有個家姐,仲學埋'浦'文同西班牙文,不過呢兩樣係十零歲佢學的,咁我見佢最少個五樣都無問題
