想問各位媽咪:

the twenty-first of January 可否寫成 the 21st of January


學校標準答案:21st January  要無"the" 和"of "

其實the 21st of January 是一個英式的詳盡寫法, 會在一些文件上常用, 例如:法庭文件, 遺囑, 合約等.比較正規的寫法,而21st January 是一般日常用的寫法.

This is also what the standard answer of my daughter's school.

When we say: the twenty-first of January and when we wirte: 21st January.
