ESF英語課程

有無媽咪D仔女讀過ESF英語課程﹖我想幫我6歲仔仔報讀火炭, 逢週六上三小時。因為學費不便宜﹐想聽下別人的經驗。

It is good, and it is fun.  But not all teachers are equally good. If you don't like the teacher, you may request to change class.

thanks for your reply.  did you kid learn a lot (English) from it?  Do you think it worth?  The course fee is not cheap.  $58xx for 14 lessons.

Hi jitjitma,

If you divide the $58xx with the number of hours you will get $140/hour.  I think it is acceptable.  My son liked the class very much.  This was not the only English class for my son.  I am not very sure that which class has contributed more to my son's English ability.  Ms. Orla (Shatin Junior) was my son's favourite teacher, you may state your preference of teacher in your enrollment form.

Alexlui and J&Amom,
what is the english level of your kids when they first go to ESF?  my son's english level is very low, and he is very shy.  i worry that he may not understand what the teachers say and then lost the interest.  $5,xxx is not cheap, i don't want my son saying to me that he doesn't want to go after 1 or 2 lesssons.

Hi jitjitma,

My son can communicate in English at that time, I have seen some students talking in English fluently in the class.  The teacher said that they divide the students into different groups according to their abilities.

Is phonics being taught in the class?
Phonics was taught as part of story telling.
