Hi, I intend to make my own set of dot cards and have some questions about it:

Does the dot cards still work for children more than one year old?

How quick do I need to flash the dot cards? Or can I do it slowly?

I need to flash how many times a day? How many cards each time?

What do I do next after flashing all the 100 cards?

Anything else that I need to know?

1. Yes, it's still work for one-year-old.  But might take a bit longer to go through all of them, as at one-year-old's attention spant is very short.

2. as fast as possible. less than one second is better.

3. It's recommended that you flash 2 set of five cards each day.  Replace the card with the fewest dot every day.   Flash only one set at a time, this should not be more than 5 seconds.  (sometimes Caleb can only go through two card at a time, but I don't force him. Just stop when he look away.)

4.  after you finish 20 card, you may start stage two, and flash equations..

You were saying "replace the card with the fewest dot every day" - does this mean that I should start from 100, 99, 98, 97 and 96 for the first day, then 99, 98, 97, 96 and 95 and so on?

"Flash 2 set of five cards each day" - does this mean that, I am not only should flash dot cards, I should also flash Mandarin character or English word or picture card?

Re picture card - what I am doing at the moment is, I am showing my daughter a few cards with different pictures on it. Sometimes I just read the name of the object sometimes I will explain what is it. Is this the right way of doing it? Or should I just flash the picture card as quick as possible?

What is the different between Memory Linking Card and flash card?
