English Time 的疑問

我想問點解ET裡面教Monday is the first day of a week, Tuesday is the second day……. Sunday is the seventh day.  呢ｄ係唔係美國文化呀？妳地會點教BB呀？

As I understand, Sunday is the first day of the week.  It is an universal.  Do you think it is a printing error?

I believe the driving purpose behind English Time is to prepare children for the real world. In general, and the business world in particular. Most companies
consider Monday to be the first day of the week so they go that way.  I do consider Monday is the day 1! Think about when we are talking in Chinese, 星期一 is the 2nd day, I think will confuse the child.

If you are more comfortable with Sunday as Day 1, you can explain to your child that he could learn either (or both) way(s).
