Study English in Philippines

Is there anybody interesting to improve their English?
My cousin go to Manila for 2 weeks and I can see his English improve a lot.  Wondering if there is anyone can go with my son together during New Year for 1-2 weeks.

Hi BCKO,
Every place have their own accent.  But I don't think the accent in Philippines is worse.  The helper in hong Kong mostly from village, not Manila.  Don't you know there are more and more families in Hong Kong hiring helper to be their children's tutor?  I know several families in Hong Kong, they hire the helper only for teaching their kids English.  Manila is a good English learning place.  Near and cheap.  If you are interesting please p.m. me.  I will ask my cousin the details and let you know.

我以前個工人都係由manlia黎,佢仲係星加坡做過幾年野.只音冇乜.但佢地既grammer真係好唔掂.對住我個囡不斷話he.我更正,佢下次又用he.對物件既量詞表達乜都用there is.不論物件多少.所以我對佢地既英文信心係0..........

Does she graduate from college, or may be she didn't go to school?  Besides, there is a lot of helper from Manila because they need to find work from Manila, but their province is not Manila.  My helper is graduate from high school, but her English is exellent.  Even good than my son's teacher, he is studying in an International Kindergarten and the teacher is from Canada.  But she still has accent, and many parents complaint about that too.  So what did you say?  Actually every countries have their accent, and I know many helpers their English is not that good.  Even in Hong Kong, so many complaints about English course, or teachers every years.  So we have to look for a GOOD English school.

I am not going to comment about their English level.  However please pay attention that there is a lot of kidnapping cases happen everyday to the Chinese.  Most of them even involve with the local police.  My friend live there and told me that all the Chinese families need to hire body guard to take their children to school.  Please consider this point.

Yes, everybody concern about their safety problem.  But I'd been there and I don't think that worse.  I know the kidnapping are aim the local Chinese kids in province.  But not Manila.  Besides, I can see police everywhere even in the shopping malls, or on the streets.  I can see the people there are very happy, not that bad    Don't know why the people always exagerate the case.
