My son goes for trumpet. They checked his mouth and teeth, measured the length of his fingers, asked him to keep closing and opening his fingers quickly (both hands at the same time) for a minute. They asked if he knows what instrument he has chosen and also asked about his music background. It took about 15 mins.
I heard from a boy (chosen violin) that they asked him if there's a video game and a violin in front of him, what will he choose.
I have observed that mostly everybody took 15 mns.

今年ar囡話個interviewer問o左10分鐘到都係問d 冇關係o既問題喎~
而且ar囡d問題都奇怪過人o地, 因為個interviewer問ar囡由港島東去荃灣唔遠咩, 跟住ar囡咪話同入沙田差唔多, 然後個人就問ar囡入沙田做咩. ar囡答佢話音樂事務處兒童合唱團練習.之後就問關於練習時間ar, 表演會唔會撞ar, 唱o左幾耐ar, 仲有學咩ar等等...
係呀, 我個女都係好快出返黎, 她話有D見好耐. 你小朋友申請學什麼樂器? 老表又申請學什麼? 見45分鐘, 你知不知話題是什麼呢? 我個女申請小提琴, 唔知關唔關事?
