Somethings wrong with the computer system of BK. There are two PM mail boxes for each account.

Anyway, I wish to ask: is it necessary to apply for the competition through the ballet school which is the member of the association? Do you know the entry requirements?

Besides, I have called them but no one answered.

對不起，由於沒有參加過這個比賽，所以詳細情況都不太清楚，只是曾經小女的芭蕾舞老師提過有這個比賽。

I see. Did your daughter dance for a long time? My daughter is now in Primary and she loves ballet. Therefore, I wish to explore more chances for her, e.g. outside activities, etc.

My daughter loves ballet very much too, she is now in Grade 6.  I think it is too hard for a Primary student to join the mentioned competition, but anyway you may consult your daughter's ballet teacher to see if there is any other competition and activities suitable for her.  

When your girl is in Grade 3, I would highly recommend this activity organised by Hong Kong Ballet : 香港芭蕾舞團青少年計劃 - 星的接觸 2008

Concerning 香港芭蕾舞團青少年計劃 - 星的接觸 2008, I know that one already and I hope my daughter can apply for it in the future. Is it very hard to dance in higher grade? And does your daughter dance a lot? twice per week?

Apart from the exam, do your daughter have any performance chance?

I think it is not that easy after Grade 5 and it is quite hard to get the high marks in higher grades.  My daughter has two lessons in a week and each last for 1.5 hours.

My daugther's ballet school organizes the stage performance for all the students once a year in summer holidays.  Apart from that I like to bring my daugther to watch the ballet performances, I think your daugther would love the performances too if she really likes ballet a lot!

I may bring her to the ballet show in the coming Arts Festival. Will you go?

Besides, she recently performed and she was very happy. In that performance, she danced alone for three minutes (Waltz of Flower in Nutcracker). That is a good experience for a 6 year old girl.

Does your daughter practise at home as well apart from attending the lessons? To do some stretching, etc.
