放手

我的小朋友在九月會升小學二年級, 近來左思右想, 到底還需要每天和她檢查功課及收拾書包呢?  亦或是要讓她獨立處理功課呢?

有沒有什何意見呢?

I let go when my boy was in P1. I didn't check his homework and schoolbag. I even didn't sign the circulars and handbook if he forget to give me. Tests and exam,don't ask me to prepare together!!  

He become more independant and responsible! Exam result is also good!

我囡都係升P.2,不過我由P.1開學1個月後就無同佢檢查功課及收拾書包,而手冊都係佢給我先簽,而默書就一時一時喇,中文就唔使我幫喇,而英文就要教下佢囉,考試就未得住,成績一般.

我囝囝升小一, 我知要放手, 但都好唔放心, 尤其是新學校, 新環境, 新制度, 小朋友真可以適應到? seec & 素兒, 你地都好成功, 會唔會係你地個小朋友自小就訓練到自理能力好好, 又細心, 有咩心得可以賜教?

It really depends on the child.

My girl has been doing everything herself since P2.  I help if the homework is difficult and revise her weak subject.

For the boys, they packed schoolbags themselves in P.1 second term and I checked afterwards.  I didn't check in P.2 because they did a good job.  I will make sure if they finish their homework and help with difficult ones.  But I always look through the corrections part because I want to be sure that they actually understand what they learn at school.  Revisions on weak subjects only since P3.

我係k3放咗三分一啦，唔同佢拾書包，只係每日返幼稚園前15分鐘，問佢拎齊未，佢自己會再打開書包看看，功課就有望，因為要答功課手冊，咁小學初初我打算都會幫下佢拾書包，因為唔同幼稚園，佢地要日日拾唔同的書，等一段時間可以試下放手，早上提下佢，幫佢check 多一次...，咁之後我都係打算晚上提及早上都提佢一次。
