Pls suggest a Ready to learn Eng teacher in Yau Ma Tei School

I want to join ready to learn Eng class in Yau Ma Tei school. Anyone studys there and tell me which teacher is good there? My son is now P4. Pls advice.

Really? So, do you think her writing or speaking skills is not improved? 2 years are long time though.

My friend's daughter has studied there since K2, she said OK wo.

Any other moms have own experience?

我囡囡3歲開始讀, 係mr. darren教, 一班有四個小朋友, 每星期上一個小時.  佢地有錄音帶比返我地聽上堂情況, 老師係好有愛心, 小朋友都好開心, 但時間太短, 有時畫吓畫, 油吓顏色又用咗10-20分鐘 每個同學可以同老師講野既機會唔係好多.

因為我想囡囡考英文直資小學, 要用英文interview, 上咗兩年之後我仍然覺得佢既英文唔夠應付interview, 連full sentence 都未識講, 發音又唔係好得, 所以之後轉佢去讀國際幼稚園, 不出3個月d英文已經進步咗好多, 而其實我要比既錢唔係多咗好多, 因為本身ready to learn都要千幾蚊個月.

Hi, MountainView,

I don't think it's worth the money.   My kid has studied there for a few months and quitted.

Hmm, I have the same reason to take this training, I want to get him well prepared for F1 interview now as he is in public primary school, speaking skill is very weak. So, other than studying in 國際幼稚園, what else I can try to improve his English? Any mom has good idea?

如果想應付INTERVIEW, 我覺得一星期一次就一定唔夠.  可能一星期要加多幾堂, 可以試下BRISTISH COUNCIL, 或者單對單教授會好D.

However, in BRISTISH COUNCIL, 20 people in one class, I don't think he can learn much esp when he is still shy to speak any. It is hard to find a good 1:1 and will still be only 1 hr per week with too high cost.

Any mom has used any DVD or VCD for Eng speaking learning at home, can you suggest that too? Thanks again.
