hi idachan,

paddyfield is in wanchai. but i suggest u checking if the cd you want to buy is available at the site www.paddyfield.com first.

u can make the order online and make the payment online or offline. i usually send cheque to the bookstore. they will arrange local delivery of the books i ordered without charge (if purchased over HK$150). v. convenient.

whereas the amazon, my husband usually buys japanese books from amazon.co.jp or scientific journal through the US site. it's also convenient but u ve to pay online.

多謝你的介紹,你有無買過amazon.co.jp的DVD,大部分都是日文,都唔知那隻適合小朋友睇,你可否介紹下,小朋友初初接觸,未學過是否買VCD好過CD呢?

sorry, as we won't let the baby watch tv in his first year, we ve not bought any dvd/vcd for him. instead, we ve only bought three "CD with Japanese Songs for children" produced by Kumon for him.

but u may wish to take a look at other bk mum's suggestions regarding dvd at http://www.baby-kingdom.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=724535&forum=3&351 (topic: BB學日文既material; also under 教育小組). they are discussing some dvd about learning the Hiragara.

btw, would u mind sharing how u teach your kid Spanish?
