Can anyone suggest where I can take my 3-year old kid for Gifted child test?

I have just took my child to have the gifted child test, but professional suggests that only child reach age of 5 is appropriate to have such kind of test as the test involves listening instruction from them.  so if you take your child to have this test too early, the result may not reflect the fact of your kid.  Save the money and bring them to those centres till they reach age of 5.  (My cost last time is HK$3800.)

我知道現在很多志願機構也有智能評估服務。香港家庭福利會的費用為例$2,500 (連評估報告)，由註冊臨床心理學家進行評估。

我今早致電循道衛理楊震服務中心,問關於"資優兒童測試", 費用約$3000包報告,但要6歲才可以.

六歲做好好多架...

楊震、家庭、協康、小童群益會都有得做嗎？

不過，費用是簡單報告還是詳細報告呢？

我想要詳細報告....會否比較好一點呢...？

楊震、家庭、協康都有得做。小童群益不確定。

一般來說，提供的報告會是詳細的。有些機構會提供兩個價錢：一個是評估的費用，一個是報告的費用。

詳細的報告當然會好一點，因為對小孩的能力有仔細的描述及分析。

小童好似係有...佢地和一間佢地話無咁商業化的中心合作咁話..但而加唔知有冇...我打去時係一年前左右了。

一就唔做....我係好八卦..好想知..愈詳細愈好....

我有個朋友的小孩o係家庭做過評估，有詳細的報告。

只是想改善她的弱點及好好利用她的沒優點.

Sorry for late reply as I was that busy (and no mood in fact owing to personal affairs) and have no time to view the website of BBkingdom.  My son took the test in HK Sheng Kun Hui Counselling Service which located in 139 Ma Tau Chung Rd., Tel: 2713 9174, pls call them and make the appointment first the counsellor may ctc you and check why you need such test for your son before accepting your application.  But their report is quite detailed.  However, if your kid is too young, do not suggest to take the test now as it takes at least one hour (no parents are allowed to stay with) and the score is also affected by the concentraction / independent of the kid.  Hope it helps.

my girl can read (only english) at the age of 2 and now she is 4 and she can read books of P6 level. Should I need to test her? and where can I test her?
Please advise.

my girl is abt 33 months, she can also read a lot of books (at least 20 books) everyday, i means once i read to her 2 or 3 times, she can read by herself. rite now she can speak fluently English/Mandarin/Cantonese.
and she has a very good memory to everything.
