can't knock door in July anymore

if we have accepted the seat/offer at private school.    Then it is really true that no need to knock door at government schools in July ?   thanks

If u want to knock door, you may do it, no any restriction, no matter you have what offer on hand.

七月叩門階段，即使你已在 直資學校 / 私立學校 註冊，仍可以試叩其他學校的門，這階段不受校網影響的。

不過，每次你接受一間學校的學位，便要放棄之前已註冊的學校，並要向之前的學校取回派位証。

If you have accepted and happy with the private school 's offer , then there is no need to knock door .  
However if you decide to change later, you can still knock door provided the schools you are  interested in accept door knocking.  Some schools might not accept door knocking totally, and some schools might not accept students who are posted to school within the same district.  Hence, it's advisable to check and decide carefully.  Based on last year experience, there was a school initially accepted door knocking but changed last minute.

The keypoint here is "happy with." If you are happy with your allocation result,  you no need to do so too.

thank you to all.
I accepted Lee Kwok Po offer.    but 10% wish to try luck on government schools in July.   but understand my girl belongs to Band 2 top (school result not outstanding), so the chance is limit.   but no harm to try try only since my girl quite likes Jockey IT (her drawing is really good that is true).    on another hand, she likes Lee Kwok Po too even we also got Pooi Kei offer (more close to us), she still prefer LKP.  

by the way, any mama is familiar with Shatin government schools?    if do, what is your selection between LKP and Cheng Wing Chi (the low grading of band 1 bottom government school) ?
