Hello all, I'm Athena's mum.
My daughter will tell me what she did at school sometimes. Let me share it (hope she did tell me the truth!)

1) they won't go to the playground everyday.  Sometime they will go to the playground or activity room upstairs.
2) about snack time, only bis its were served for the

first 2 weeks.  Now they will have macaroni, rice stick bread and drinks like oval tine, juice or water.
3) once they arrived the classroom, they have to put homework or the document bag in the drawer.  English and Cantonese classes everyday but mandarin for 4 days(I wonder if this is correct).  Name of mandarin teacher: Ms Yu.

My daughter likes Ms Amanda very much.  By the way, she named some of her classmAtes at her table like "Davis, Ali, Zenith".  Are these names correct?

And I cant understand the reason for carrying the spare clothes everyday instead of keeping it in the classroom.  Her pn kindergarten had space in the classroom for keeping the clothes.

Thank you for yr update too especially the teachers' names.  
My daughter read the name as "Ali" but i am not sure about the spelling, she told me Ali is a girl.  Now I confirmed with her about Alex.  She said both are her classmAte with Alex as a boy.  So, I guess both my kid and your kid are right!
I guess Ms Wai may be more green compared with Ms Amanda?  We joined the orientation class in summer at the old campus.  In coincident, Amanda was her English teacher too!
Actually, I didn't prepare so much with her about that presentation.  I did ask her what she said to introduce herself.  But she just keep telling me her name in different versions in both English and Cantonese.

Hello, Zenith's mum!  Yes sure, we met during the adorientation class.  What a coincidence!  Athena looked very happy when she told me Zenith is her classmate. 
By the way, did Zenith mention anything about the mandarin class?  From the day I applied the international class, the teacher said there will be Chinese, mandarin and English classes everyday.  But till now, it seems not according to the time schedule.

Yes, I didn't attend the seminar but according to what I was being told on the phone, there are daily mandarin classes.  According to the school notice, the children need to bring mandarin book on Tue & Thur only.  So, I wonder if there are only 2 classes every week.

On the other hand, I asked my daughter twice about the no. of mandarin classes every week.  She said 4 days from Mon to Thur.  There is no mandarin class on Fri.  Instead, they will go to the outdoor playground.  I'm really not sure if my daughter is serious or not.  I believe I should ask the class teacher.
