That's not too much. Honestly, when kids go to Extra curricular activites and lesson, it's more like the ADULT feels tired, and sun foo... not the child.

It seems nowadays the average number of extra-curricular activities (include academic classes like Eng, Math & PTH) are at least 5 classes per week, I know some children can learn up to 13 classes per week. Sometimes I also brag about this kind of learning atmosphere in HK. I think only Asian children would be forced to take so many afterschool classes.
I am no better than other mothers, I also let my child to take 7 classes per week, include sports, musical instrument, music class, art, English etc....
I can't help myself to enroll all the classes for my girl as I got pressure from outside as well as subconsiously will compare with others at school.
I really hope this kind of "competitive" environment among kids will cease one day.
