This year, the violin grade 1 song equals to Grade 2 or 3 level, not a easy one for a beginner. Grade 2 is concerto with 3 pages long, difficult too. Hard to choose.

I've viewed the songs at youtube. I also think the songs for violin lower grades this year is more difficult and longer than those last year. mouth:" />

Usually the HKSMA song is one level higher than their grade. For example, Grade 1 violin the 'Happy Farmer' in last year was the Grade 2 exam piece. What about this 'violin concerto b minor op 35, 3rd movement'? It belongs to Grade 3/4? Just curious wants to know how difficult they want the lower grade students to play. Why they want the pieces getting more difficult?
