This was my experience ...

Questions for the baby (from NET teacher only):
1. What is your name?
2. Put the toys of different shapes (triangles, circle, etc.) into a bucket.
3. Match the toy fruits which were cut into 2 pieces
4. Identify the colour of the toys


Questions for the parents:
1. Request you to bring a video/art work that you do it with your children
2. Why did you apply York international?
3. What do you do with your child at home?
4. What is your expectation to your child?

Sorry to confuse you ...

There were 2 teachers in the room, one was the NET teacher and the other was a local teacher. The NET  teacher played with the children and asked them questions. The local teacher sat at the corner of the room and interviewed the parents in turns. When I was interviewed by the local teacher, my child was playing the toy alone or with the NET teacher.

WE GOT INTERVIEW ON DEC 11 (COS WE'RE LATE TO APPLY) & WE ONLY HAD THE NET AT THE SPOT,
NO LOCAL TEACHER DURING THE INTERVIEW.

THE TEACHER ASKED SEVERAL QUESTIONS (ALL IS IN ENGLISH) & THEY'R AS THE FOLL. :

1) WHAT IS YOUR NAME ?

2) 4 OBJECTS IN THE PICTURE WHAT ARE THEY ?
WHAT ARE THEIR COLOR ?

3) 2 BIG CATS & 2 SMALL CATS, WHICH 2 ARE BIG, WHICH 2 ARE SMALL ?
USE FINGER TO POINT IN OUT HOW MANY CATS IN THE PICTURES.

4) AGAIN, 4 OBJECTS IN THE PICTURE WHAT ARE THEY ? THERE'S A LITTLE GIRL IN THE PICTURE HOLDING SOMETHING WHAT IS IT ? (ACTUALLY IS A BALL)

5) A PICTURE SHOWING "SNEAKER", WHAT IS THE COLOR OF SNEAKER & WHAT THIS'S FOR ?

6) WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO YOU LIKE ?

7) PLS POINT OUT YOUR EYES, EARS, MOUTH & NOSE

8) THE MOST DIFFICULT TO MY GAL IS ASKING HER TO "FOLD OVER" THE CARD. MY GAL DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE MEANING OF "FOLD OVER'

(STILL HAVE FEW QUESTIONS I COULDN'T RECALL WHAT THEY'R. SORRY. BUT NO QUESTIONS TO ME & MY HUBBY)

FINALLY NET GAVE "YORK" DVD & 1 CANDY TO MY GAL.

WE ALSO NEED TO PREPARE 1 ARTWORK BEFOREHAND & GIVING TO NET DURING INTERVIEW. WE MADE UP A X'MAS CARD TOGETHER.

YORK OFFERS INTERNATIONAL PM CLASS TO MY GAL & WE HAVE REGISTERED LAST WEEK.

唔該晒你，啲問題好難呀！我小朋友唔太識講英文，聽都唔明，我平日係用中文同佢溝通，你女女係咪大部份都做到？咁學校係幾時通知你收你女女呢？你教得女女好叻呀。

MY GAL CAN ANSWER ALMOST 80-90% OF THE QUESTONS. I THINK IT'S COS WE SPEAK IN ENGLISH / PTH WITH HER DAILY. I ALSO NEED TO TKS FOR MY EX INDONESIA MAID. SHE SPEAKS BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH.

OUR INTERVIEW WAS ON DEC 11 & GOT THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER ON DEC 24.

WHEN IS UR INTERVIEW ? YOU MAY CONSIDER TO APPLY THE LOCAL STREAM I/O INTERNATIONAL.
